New Consul General (CG) of Malaysia in Los Angeles
We have a new Consul General at the Malaysian Consulate
in Los Angeles. En. Norman Muhamad is the new CG replacing En. Ahmad
Anwar Adnan who has moved to Singapore. En. Norman started his duty on July 1, 2008. Welcome to Los Angeles En. Norman.
Fashion & Cultural Show and Performance Competition
Buy Batik Craft presented a fashion and cultural show
in July in Los Angeles. The Malaysian cultural troupe also participated in
the International Cultural Show competition and managed to get into the final
round of the competition. Congratulations!!
Start of Ramadan
According to the Fiqh Council of North America and the European Council for Fatwa and Research, the
first day of Ramadan will most likely be on Monday, September
1, 2008. We
